This spring we will have five teams (U10, U11, U12, U13 and U15) competing in the Mass Premier League (MAPLE).  Please see the Spring Outdoor MAPLE Season page for more details.

U9/U10 Academy Registration is also now open and will close on April 4th.

This spring we will be offering an Academy program for U9 players to experience Melrose United in a fun, non-competitive environment.  To help build the academy players game skills they will also have at least three scrimmages.

At our Fall MAPLE Season Banquet on November 17th at Prince Pizza, the following awards were presented:

Golden Boot – Recognizes the top goal scorer for the 2014 Fall MAPLE Season.
U9 – Kiran Thomas
U11 – Ryan Esfahanian
U12 – Sohaib Drif
U13 – Cam Rosnov and Robert Wiesen (tie)

Most Improved Player – Recognizes the player who has shown the greatest overall improvement in technical ability and on field performance during the course of the 2014 Fall MAPLE Season.
U9 – Paul Nault
U11 – Mason Pecci
U12 – Jack Overgaag
U13 – Matt Deeble

Unsung Hero – Honors the player who made a substantial yet unrecognized contribution to the team.  This player demonstrated courage, character and respect towards his teammates and coaches during the 2014 Fall MAPLE Season.

Due to weather conditions, all grass fields in Melrose are closed today, therefore U11 and U12 practices are canceled.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

For the remainder of the season U11 and U12 practice will be on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the West Side Knoll.

The first Thursday practice will be this Thursday October 30th at 4:30 PM.

Friday’s U11 and U12 practice is being moved to Thursday to accommodate Senior Night for the high Boys Varsity Soccer Team.  Practice will be held on Thursday October 23 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM on the West Side Knoll

Due to the Columbus Day holiday, Monday’s U11 and U12 practice will move to Tuesday October 14 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM on the West Side Knoll.
